About the Houston Pipe Club

Our Story

The Houston Pipe Club was officially reformed in 2012 to bring together pipe smoking enthusiasts from across the Houston area. Our club provides a welcoming environment for both seasoned pipe smokers and those new to the hobby.

We meet regularly to share our passion for pipes, tobaccos, and the fellowship that comes with the hobby. Our meetings feature discussions on pipe craftsmanship, tobacco blending, smoking techniques, and the rich history and culture surrounding pipe smoking.

Our Mission

The mission of the Houston Pipe Club is to:

• Promote the enjoyment and appreciation of pipe smoking as a relaxing and contemplative hobby
• Provide education about pipe craftsmanship, tobacco blending, and smoking techniques
• Create a community where pipe enthusiasts can share knowledge and experiences
• Preserve the cultural heritage and traditions associated with pipe smoking

Membership

Membership in the Houston Pipe Club is open to anyone with an interest in pipe smoking, regardless of experience level. We welcome pipe smokers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

To become a member, simply attend one of our meetings and express your interest in joining. There are no formal membership fees, though we occasionally collect donations to cover the costs of special events and activities.
